Basketa is a shopping-list helper. Your privacy is the default, not a setting.
What we collect
Nothing. Basketa does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
- All your data — shopping lists, products, stores, purchase history, and settings — is stored only on your device, in a local database.
- There are no accounts, no sign-up, and no login.
- We use no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers.
- We do not have a server and never receive your data.
Device permissions (Pro features)
Some optional Pro features ask the operating system for access. You are always asked first, and you can use the whole app without granting any of them.
- Camera — used only to scan a product barcode. Images are processed on your device in real time and are never saved or sent anywhere.
- Microphone & Speech Recognition — used only for voice input. When you use voice, Apple's speech-recognition service processes your spoken audio to turn it into text; this is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. Basketa does not store the audio or the transcription beyond adding the matched items to your list.
Purchases
Basketa Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. We never see or store your payment details — the transaction is handled entirely by the App Store.
Where your data lives
Your data never leaves your phone. If you delete the app, the data is removed with it. You can also clear your list, clear purchase history, or perform a factory reset at any time from Settings → Data & storage.
Children
The app is safe for all ages and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will ship with a new app release and the date above will be updated.
